The Impact We’re Making
Empowering employees to feel confident with money, reduce stress, and make informed decisions
Supporting employers to improve staff wellbeing, reduce absenteeism, and deliver on CSR and ESG goals
Providing vulnerable groups — including young people, carers, migrant workers, and those on low incomes — with free financial guidance and tools to build long-term resilience
Offering inclusive, trauma-informed and culturally aware education in both professional and community settings
Helping to break cycles of financial exclusion, stress-related illness, and systemic inequality
Whether we’re delivering workshops in workplaces, schools, housing associations or community groups, our impact is clear:
We help people feel more in control, more confident, and more supported — financially, emotionally, and practically.
Every session we deliver doesn’t just educate — it empowers.
And every employer who works with us becomes part of something bigger: a movement for financial equity, wellbeing, and lasting social change.
WHY OUR WORK MATTERS
Money affects everything — from our stress levels and relationships to our future plans and everyday peace of mind. But for many people across Northern Ireland, financial wellbeing feels out of reach.
Too often, people are left to navigate debt, housing costs, retirement planning, or rising living expenses without the knowledge or support they need.
The Reality:
49% of working adults in Northern Ireland are financially “struggling” or “squeezed”
11% regularly borrow to cover basic essentials like food and energy
39% feel unprepared for retirement and lack confidence with long-term financial planning
These aren’t just numbers — they reflect real people under real pressure.
What We’re Changing:
At Fortify, we believe financial wellbeing is essential to overall wellbeing. We deliver financial education that’s inclusive, trauma-aware, and practical — designed to meet people where they are, whether at work or in the community.
Our work supports:
Employees dealing with stress, uncertainty, or burnout
Young people and underserved groups with little or no access to financial guidance
Migrant workers and foreign nationals who face barriers understanding the UK system
Employers who want to reduce absenteeism and boost wellbeing
A Social Enterprise with Purpose:
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we reinvest all profits to expand access to free or subsidised workshops for those who need it most.
Every session we run is a step toward a more financially confident, mentally resilient, and empowered society.
Because when people feel secure with money, everything else begins to improve — their health, their relationships, and their sense of control.
OUR IMPACT GOALS
Improve confidence in money management
Reduce reliance on high-interest borrowing
Help employers support staff wellbeing
Increase access to financial services for underserved groups
